A look back at the sessions for "I Love the Way". Recorded in Lexington Kentucky at the Long Island Recording Studios, where the sophomore project took shape and brought new friendships.

After the signing with Tranquillity Records the initial search for material took place. The first project was a learning process for her and to make the project go quicker and easier the decision was made to use cover material for the first project. Through hours of listening and searching, the initial list was chosen.

The Music tracks were brought to us by Jody Conley, James Whited (Guitars) and Eric White (Drums and percussion). Jody and James are with the Kentucky Opry Band and are some of the best musicians in the business. They were a real inspiration and brought a lot of confidence and talent to the project. Eric White is with a band called ILL SUBLIMINAL and we were lucky to be able to have his services during his busy schedule. His band left for a tour of Europe shortly after his tracks were finished.

During the process of putting on vocal tracks we came across some singers who brought a whole new layer to the project. Rae'Shawna Campbell, her sister Courtney and Jason Coffee came in to check Chelsea out and within no time were singing background vocals on her tracks.

Jason Coffee is from the group Black Coffee who were signed with Motown Records and Rae and Courtney are currently working with artist development in Atlanta to fine tune their career. Their support for the project and the encouragement they gave Chelsea was most valuable. They have committed to working with Chelsea on her next project through writing, direction and backup vocals. Not only was it a great working relationship but new friendships were made which continue to this day.

Erin Cheeks was the Executive Producer and was present throughout the whole process. Being Chelsea 's Vocal instructor helped with the recording of Chelsea 's vocals. Erin also mixed the project throughout all stages of the project.
